Charactor Bio: Kelly Severide
The brash leader of elite Rescue Squad 3, Severide battles multiple demons while performing daily feats of heroism.
Still reeling from the death of his childhood friend and fellow firefighter, Andrew Darden, he struggles to hide the rift between himself and squad leader Matthew Casey. But the pain of losing Darden is made worse as he grapples with crushing spinal pain – something he hides from his fellow firefighters and his best friend, house paramedic Leslie Shay.
Not one to shy away from the ladies, Severide also has a tendency to land in hot water with his relationships. But despite all of his plights, self-imposed or otherwise, Severide’s first concern is always to be the strongest possible leader for his squad.
